This ‘Advantage Sustainability’ infographic explores examples of positive action taken at individual events in the calendar, gathering a host of interesting facts ad statistics showcasing some of the most promising actions that have been taken.

• Wimbledon’s famous strawberries and cream are locally sourced from within a hundred miles, nearly all of the strawberries coming from Kent having been picked at 5.30 that morning
   
• From the US Open’s giant kitchens and food stalls, more than 12,000 gallons of food grease will be converted into biodiesel fuel
   
• Australia Open 2013 diverted 81% of onsite waste from landfill
